“ Great restaurant on Loíza street with the pleasant decor, attentive service and high quality food! I had to be on a strict diet for a week and it was a challenging thing to do in PR. Luckily, I came across this restaurant in the neighborhood and they offer some good healthy options with normal size portions, not gigantic loads of food like in most places. ”
“ Don’t come here if you love bad service in a overcrowded restaurant with the same ol’ menu. 5 stars for us. We came here at 10p on a Saturday because of 2 failed attempts at “recommended” spots with rude doormen. We decided to head back local by where we stayed, and so glad we did because from the moment we walked in we were greeted and sat with our server who was the most kind as we had our baby with us. We ordered the special which was a whole branzino and it was perfectly cooked, and seasoned well. Buttery and melted in your mouth. The tostones light, thin and crispy. Also had the pork chop which was delicious especially the rice. The twist with truffle oil was on point. Cocktails were great too! The ambience is sexy & intimate. Glad we came! ”
“ It is a relatively small place that offers some unique plates. It is excellent. I enjoyed it immensely. All the plates we ordered were very tasty and at an affordable price. I recommend it for people who are looking for something different and tasty. ”
“ What a special treat of a place. Every dish was incredible. Gotta a respect place with a mezcal cocktail the list. The owner ripping on the piano just put the most incredible cherry on top of our evening. P.S. I’ve never liked a vodka cocktail in my life until trying the Sofia Loren. ”
“ Everything was outstanding from the meal to the service. I had the chicken as my main course and the tres leches for dessert. This may be the best chicken I've ever had in my life. The skin was nice and crispy, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Excellent flavor. The tres leches was also very good, but the chicken absolutely stole the show. ”
“ The ambiance, vibe, food and drinks were amazing. I sat at the bar, The bartender was nice and made me a passionfruit mojito and margarita. I really enjoyed my hangar steak, it was cooked to perfection. ”
“ If you are like me, after eating the traditional local PR food for a week non-stop, and want to have something more "familiar" and take a break from the amazing skirt steaks and fried plantains, then this is your place to go. All dishes we've had here are fantastic. The risotto was rich, savory and creamy, the fish is tender yet the skin is crispy. The passion fruit cake was not too sweet nor to heavy, made just right. We had the bartender to be creative and make something for us with mint and no alcohol, and I ended up having probably the most tasty non-alcoholic drink I have ever had in my life. If I remember right, the drink has freshly squeezed lime juice, fresh ginger juice, grapefruit, mint and a kind of local beverage, I forgot the name. The ginger juice gives it a kick, tasted just like a light alcoholic drink without any alcohol in it. Don't take me wrong, I am a whiskey drinker, it's just one of those nights when I didn't feel like drinking, and this drink was just perfect. The ambient was nice, a bit dark and quiet. The bar tender let us know that there would be live music during the weekends. I wish we could make it. ”
“ The food was fantastic and the staff were super friendly. The pianist who played while we were there was amazing, and the energy in the place was so cozy. Omar our bartender was next level and created us two unique cocktails that highlighted the special flavors of Puerto Rico. If you’re in San Juan and are looking for a brunch that will impress you, look no further, this is the spot! ”
